OCEAN EXPRESS CATAMARAN ADVANTAGES:

1.                 mph at 3 miles per gallon.  This transmits to 700 – 800 mile cruising range with 300 gallons of fuel.

2.                 Ocean Express bolsts over 40 years designing and building custom Race, Poker Run, and Sport Fishing catamarans with several World Championships to its credit.

3.                 Ocean Express uses a special blend marine resin and is 100% cored, utilizing double bias unidirectional stitched materials costing four times over most V-bottom standard of 24 oz woven roving.

4.                 Ocean Express Twin-V Offshore Catamarans run on top of the water.  Gliding over 24 steps and utilizing a large air entrapment tunnel allowing a 40% softer ride.  This means sit-down capability - less stress on back and knees.  Most V-bottom bolsters are stand-up.

5.                 The outboard motors have a 50% duty cycle advantage over the V-bottom counterparts - meaning the motors with proper care, will last twice as long.

6.                 Ocean Express Cats with twin 300 Suzuki’s, in most cases, use 30 pitch 4-blade propellers allowing a smoother ride.  Most V-bottom twin 300’s use 23 to 24 pitch 3-blade wheels.

7.                 Ocean Express Cats will run on plane with a full load at speeds of 20 mph.  Most V-bottoms won’t stay on plane with a full load at 30 mph.

8.                 Ocean Express Cats have more storage and three live wells.

9.                 Ocean Express Cats do not lose sight of the horizon on take-off and they also turn flat; they do not lean like their V-bottom counterparts.

10.            Due to the higher X-dimension, the Ocean Express catamaran outboard power heads are farther away from the salt water.

11.            Ocean Express has been family owned business for over 40 years.

NOTE:   This information is not meant to bash other boats.  It simply points out the difference between assembly line boats and the custom Ocean Express Catamaran.

What is surface piercing technology?
Your catamarans are built with fiberglass but your t-tops on the center consoles have tubular aluminum frames covered with Sunbrella fabric. Why don't you use a fiberglass hard top?
What about speed?
Why do you have monster size scoops on the Poker Run boats?
Why build a boat with a Pilot House?
